Elva "Rose" (Terrien) Russell, 76, passed away on June 11th surrounded by her loving family in UMASS Memorial Medical Center.

Elva's husband, George G. Russell passed away in 1995. She leaves a son, George F. Russell of Millbury and a daughter, Mary Susan Russell of Shrewsbury; two grandchildren, George W. Russell and Susan Havalotti; a brother, Thomas F. Terrien of Worcester; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Francis and Susan (Germain) Terrien; a brother, Alfred Therrien and her best friend, Edith Fleming.

Elva graduated from Leo's Hairdressing School in Worcester and worked at Lustere Beauty Salon in Grafton for over 18 years. She enjoyed baking, crafts, crocheting and knitting. Most of all Elva loved taking care of her children and grandchildren.

Elva's calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 14th from 5 to 8 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 15th at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street in Millbury. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery.
