Helen attended St. Mary's School as well as Worcester Public Schools. She graduated from David Hale Fanning School in Worcester. Helen's most rewarding job was as a loving wife and devoted mother. She was a religious lifelong member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church of which her parents were founding members.

Helen had a special place in her heart for nature, notably calling her home her paradise. She especially enjoyed watching the birds and woodland animals that roamed her yard.
