Obituary for Jill J. Baldarelli

January 5, 2017
Worcester, Massachusetts

Our beloved Jill J. Baldarelli, 58, passed in the early morning of January 5th surrounded by her family and loved ones, after succeeding for almost 20 years in a valiant struggle with advanced cardiomyopathy. Jill was the daughter of the late Mary and Richard Baldarelli.

She leaves behind her loving and devoted life-partner of 28 years Patricia Sarty, brother Bert Baldarelli and his wife Catherine, brother Richard Baldarelli, sister Lee Baldarelli and her life-partner Robin Booth, sister Abbi Bayersdorfer and husband Erik of Clearwater, Florida, her niece Maria Baldarelli and fiancé Diego Almansa, nephew Michael Baldarelli and his fiancé Nicole Desrosiers, nephew Anthony Baldarelli and wife Emily, and her niece Tegan Bayersdorfer.

Jill attended West Boylston schools in her youth and went on to Curry College. She later became a member of the Junior Women's League where she coordinated many volunteer activities. For 20 years, Jill and Pat coordinated and oversaw the Family Fun Day Benefit for Worcester Easter Seals and later, moved on to coordinating Golf Tournaments for Easter Seals. Jill worked as a devoted employee of Candela Corporation for 18 years, where she became a Senior Quality Regulatory Engineer and held many awards and certificates of achievement.

A member of First Baptist Church for most of her life, Jill participated in choir there as a child and many other programs. In 2009, Jill and Pat joined the spiritual community of Unity of Central Massachusetts, where Jill became a prayer chaplain and frequently led meditations for Sunday services as well as serving as Minister of the Day on special occasions. At UCM, Jill participated, coordinated or volunteered in dozens of special events, programs and workshops too numerous to list.

Jill will be cherished and remembered for many things, but maybe most for her deep love of family and her passion and gift for cooking. Jill poured her creativity and love into recipes and meals for loved ones and friends and contributed her food to numerous events year round. Jill's beautiful passion for life and her devoted generous spirit was a blessing to many. We are far better for her presence in our lives. She is embraced with immeasurable gratitude and love as she continues on her journey. She will be greatly missed.

Jill's calling hours will be held on Monday, Jan 9th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
