Robert "Bob" J. McDonald, 57, passed away after a courageous yearlong battle with cancer on Feb. 6th.
Bob leaves his wife of 36 years, Susan M. (Bouley) McDonald; two sons, Robert McDonald and his wife, Beth of Spencer and William McDonald and his wife, Nicole of Boylston; three grandchildren, Colin, Maeve, and Jacob; two brothers, Glenn McDonald and his wife, Sharon of Dudley and James McDonald and his wife Deb of Oxford; a sister, Marie McDonald of FL; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Louise McDonald.
Bob worked for National Grid as a safety trainer for many years where he made a lasting impression on all. He loved exploring with his wife Susan, who was his heart and soul. Bob brought happiness and laughter everywhere he went. He was a devout family man who relished in making his grandchildren smile. He will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to meet and share a laugh with him.
Bob's funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours.
